Can someone point me in the direction to obtain a carby tool for a jonsered.
All eBay ones are overseas that I can find. Don't really feel like waiting 3 weeks for it.

Won't see me in a gw. But seriously check the link it looks like its out of the transformers movie

. Good on you for reading the whole thread though, a lot of good knowledge has been shared plus probably the same amount of BS. Can't have one without the other though, that would just be boring.

Whats wrong with a shovel and crowbar?! :tongue2:

No experience with them but I'd be wary of the coke can gears and stuff. But I'm sure there are a few good makes out there.

waste of cash mate, get into it by hand you'll live longer. crowbar for the hard **** & a scoop shovel or one of them posthole digging shovels.

or better still, get the kid from around the corner to dig them :msp_thumbup:

I hear ya's ,but am not too keen to do 40 odd by hand, putting in new fence posts around the house yard

me and the old man did a few km's on one side of our spreads boundary fence by hand, steep country and rock hard granite clay base , post hole digger on the tractor just bounced around, and we had to use a crow bar to loosen the ground before the post hole digger even looked at digging in. it was quicker just doing it by hand and more enjoyable without the droning diesel tractor & pto noise ...once you get going after a few holes and your back loosens up it goes surprisingly quick. makes ya sleep like a ####ing baby too... the old man still prefers doing holes by hand now, he likes the quiet and couldn't be bothered gearing up the tractor... ...but we also just use star pickets now and just dig out for strainers, posts just don't last from the termites

after today I'll stick with my no1v223 Ruger far nicer on my collar bone

Reticle a like this are great if your busting bunny's in daylight, under the spotlight I find they just clutter your view especially when you need to make a quick shot at closer range, I regret having one on my tikka varmint in .204, I will be going back to a crosshair.

Guy I know bought one and a week after it shat itself. Carby had started to basically fall apart but I managed to fix it and get it going.
I've also used the Stihl post hole borer.

It shouldn't take a brain surgeon to work out which one was safer and nicer to use :)

For the price though they do the job fine.
