I've noticed a few homelite parts described as NLA on Ebay. I don't know if it's true or not; I asked a dealer recently about availability on Homie stuff; he said it was spotty, and probably dependant upon old stock left on the shelves. It didn't look like the new Homie owners were getting anything going as far as a parts program.

But that still doesn't address the price tag for this boot, does it? What some people may not know is that minor cracks in these types of parts can sometimes be repaired...3M used to have a two-part urethane product that worked OK, and sometime even <a href="http://www.cyberbond1.com/index.cfm">superglue</a> works.
