PS 400th post.

I've spent more time having my life transported in used cars and airplanes that used climbing ropes. Heck, I've bought used tires lots of times with good success and a lot of money saved. And they're much more complicated than a piece of rope.

If I know the source of a piece of gear and can inspect it, I would consider getting a used piece of gear. This isn't a blind decision. Do it with open, critical eyes and there shouldn't be a problem.

Nope its a fine line the sherrils book its color is orange.
Turns out its red.
All my climbing gear is sotred in bags that costted me 100 each. Zippers remain closed nice strap for shouldering them Shhot fire even the bag is not left in the sunlight.. heh
Its a fine rope Imma keep it. I looked at 1600$ worth of tree work yesterday should take me about 4 hours.

Cool, TH. I do that sorta stuff all the time.

But my take on something like that would be 50 - 60 dollars an hour.

Do you get the whole $1600? Minus a little ground help?

Is your heavy equipment involved?

So many variables involved. :)

Rocky J, I see your point. You can't trust what you don't know. I spent the money on the saw. So I'll spend the extra money on the life line. After all you only get one life. You might ought to protect your axx. Got ya Rocky J.:p

Buying used gear ain't the end of the world, Froggy. You can get some good deals thataway.

Its just kinda hard to ascertain what kinda shock loads have be slammed on it, ya know?

New gear eliminates that problem. Plus, its all shiny and new!

I wish I knew how to photoshop some climbing gear on this guy! :D
