HL 141B Tillotson carb kit. looked on chainsawr, Feebay, and internet in general...no dice.

Oh, and wheres the best place to buy 10-20' of #6 starter cord?

I got a big spool of #5 starter cord from Baileys a while ago. Works great for all my Homelites, McCullochs, and larger Poulans.

That Tillotson HL takes an RK-88HL or DG-5HL kit. Available anywhere. Chainsawr has them. Many places on feebay too.

Thank you sir! i was just about to check baileys. guess number 6 is a little big. ill go with #5. thanks for the suggestion.

Trading stuff on the block

Carl has started something really good here. Seeing the success of the original swap meet thread, this was a no brainer. I do feel that this got off on the wrong foot tho. This(as I see it), is not an anti foreign or plastic thread, but a friendly "swap meet" for those older saws and parts that would quickly get buried in the other thread(s). We're all a great bunch here and if someone were to post asking for a husky/stihl cover, I for one, would point them to the right thread, like we do with all the oil threads, model info, etc. If I've stepped over a line here then bring out the gas and matches and I'll go up in flames without a wimper:msp_biggrin:
Now back on topic. Here is a collection of pics of what I have up for trade

Here is a 3-25. Saw is currently disassembled. Piston is froze hard in the cyl. The saw was left outside for a number of years.

Homelite XL-102 this is almost enough parts to build two saws. 1 saw has been painted and ready to assemble with new decals. was a project started but never finnished

Assorted carcasses. Skil is a 1629 and complete, Mac D-30, had running with shot thru carb. This is an original that missed the recall for the oiler update. It has no oiler, just uses crankcase pressure. Mac had a recall on this model to add a manual oiler, but this saw never got it. pioneer 1200, was running, but low compression, an IEL RA, saw has good compression. Assortment of remington stuff

I also have assorted Remington parts, mostly for the PL/SL series. Like the rest of us here, these parts appeared as extras that accompanied other saw deals. If you see anything of interest, PM me and I'll try to answer any questions you might have. I'm looking to trade these parts, but $$ will work.
Looking for:
Felling dawg for Homelite 20MCS
Mall 2MG parts: airfilter cap, Spark Plug rubber cover,
Pioneer 610 felling dawg
Mac 99 control handle parts
Want to trade saws? Will trade the RA for mall/ Homelite project-open to all offers on any of the saws

I need a right side (clutch) crankcase half for a C7. Might be able to stop the corrosion on it, but if i can find a replacement, that would be better!

Drew you're making me dizzy with those pics. Every one seems to be a mirror image!:D

I'm interested in the XL102 project box. What do you need in trade for it? I have tons of XL12/SXL series Homelite stuff. I don't have any of the stuff in your "looking for" list unfortunately.

I don't have a spare drivecase for you at this time Mark. You can use a drivecase from any C-Series (C5/51/52/7/71/72/9/91) or non automatic-oiler XP series saw (XP1000/1020).

Thats alright, still looking forward to those other parts youve got though!

Thanks for all the info on compatible models, ill start looking!

Are there any good sources for decals for old Remingtons, Homelites, etc?

Very generous of you Cliff. Mark this may be the best, most cost effective way for you to go. You'd have everything you need and more right there. Let me know whether or not this works out. If it doesn't, I'll send you the lower handle brace and the flywheel cover that we talked about earlier.

Joe Salva (Sugar Creek Supply) makes lots of different Homelite decals. I don't know if he does any Remington decals yet. Chainsawr World's largest inventory of Chainsaw Parts is a site sponsor here, and carries Joes decal sets. There are sellers on feebay that carry them too.
