That's what I'm talking about.

Just realized this post was a response to me. Anyway, I'll be sending your bar tomorrow. Okie Dokie?
Okie Dokie. :msp_wink:
I like saying that........
That's what I'm talking about.

Willya send me one of them thar PM700's in trade for me NOT sending you a mini-mac???
(Randy this is where you say, "Okie Dokie").
Hold one back and shine up the ports, there are more than a few interested parties that would love to see your magic on one of these.
Welp I don't like sayin it that much.
Okie Dokie.
Randy, I'm not gonna say anything about them thar PM700s you got ..... happy with the one I have.
..... and I still won't send you any MMs!
'preciate that brother Ted.
I'm seeking several brake flags to fit these PM700s. I hate to try and sell a saw that's missing stuff.
picked up a 306A at the junk yard yesterday for next-to-nothing. pulled muffler and p&c are pristine. checked for spark and has good spark. starter rope is broken so can't pull it over but feels like decent compression (at least what i can feel by turning the flywheel). needing a fuel and oil cap. also, the bottom part of the sprocket cover upon which the saw rests is broken off so also looking for a sprocket cover; saw sits kinda catywomp right now. also needing a starter handle.
never saw a starter mechanism like this. is it really totally under the flywheel?
looking for IPL and shop manual too.
been wanting one of these. its amazing to me what people toss. got decades of built-up oil/chips so doesn't even look like the starter cover was ever pulled; haven't pulled the sprocket cover yet but expect it to be the same.
posting this in the poulan thread too.
Yup, busted off bottom of clutch cover. Someone made a 'crutch' for this one.
I have a nice XL-15 that somebody 'converted' into a direct drive saw before I got it. Looks like they put an NOS .404 spur drive clutch drum and SXL clutch cover on the saw (cover is the 'wrong' red, and has the larger holes for the 3/8" studs, while the saw still has 5/16" studs). I'd like to restore the saw to it's original configuration. It has nice paint, the P/C are in good shape, and the model/serial # tag is present and pristine. Anybody got a roached XL-15 (or XL-Automatic Gear Drive) with intact gear drive parts that you'd part with?
Sorry Carl. Just remembered that I was supposed to find a C-5 coil for you. Seeing your 'crutch' equipped 306A reminded me. I've got two parts saws to pull the flywheels off of and check. Will get to that soon.:msp_unsure:
I can see it now, ARMO Engineering.
I would like to submit a design for your consideration, you can even call it "Quite Thing" if you'd like.
