The stuff I have is not the Karropak, but rather the cork/rubber combo material. The cellophane packaging with the part number is long gone but I have both 1/16" and 1/8" material in the rubber/cork composition.

You put me onto that stuff Poge. I bought the 1/16" 3018 cork-rubber material. The 1/8" stuff is 3019. I used the 1/16" to seal up a 10 series oil tank (sort of seal up).

I made a deal with the folks at Sawzilla and bought a batch of their Viton gaskets...as far as I am concerned that is the way to go. If you insist on making your own, buy a length of square o-ring material from McMaster-Carr and then use a bit of Dirko or Threebond at the joint.

Unfortunately, McMaster Carr stopped shipping to Canada except to a few large customers some years ago.

Granger should have it, they have almost anything else.

According to there chemical resistance chart, Buna is very good gasoline resistance. Here is a square O ring that is 1/8th inch.

Thinking about tearing my Parts Mac 10-10A down and getting it bored 020 over. I have a genuine NOS .020 piston and rings for it. Just need to find a reliable machine shop near me. It is very very close in serial number to my grandfather's Mac 10-10A. Here's some comparison pics. and Piston/Cylinder scoring pics from the parts saw. The Parts Mac with the scored cylinder and missing parts (due to me using parts from it) is 13-59728 My grandfathers is 13-81147. (Both Model 600002U)

Pictures may not be ordered chronologically. The nicer outside pics are of my Grandfather's rebuilt saw and 13-81147 tag. Also always wondered where 13-81146 or 13-81148 are. Serial numbers close to my grandfathers saw. Are they parts saws? In usable condition? Stuffed away in a shed somewhere? Who knows. But this one is pretty close!

Does anyone know part numbers for the crank bearings and seals for a McCulloch 10-10S? I found the McCulloch factory part numbers but I am having problems crossing them locally.

The clutch side needle bearing is a BH-108 Make sure you ask for full compliment.

The clutch side seal is an SKF CR6119 0r CR6120 The CR6119 has a dust seal on it or a National (Timken) 253747

The flywheel side seal looks like a McCulloch pn 65746 or 61618 (same part) Use National (Timken) 471551 ,
Check the size of the one you removed on this one, Crank diameter would be

0.5625 in shaft, 1.3790 in OD,

Haha keep reading though you pick up a heap of tid bits of knowledge. I've read about 600 pages of the mac thread just to soak up all I can and save asking to many silly questions. Not that yours was a silly question it's a good one cos it puts the answers there for someone in the future

Nope haven't had to buy any yet but someone will post it up I'm at work so dont have time to search it up but will later on. I'm building a spike for a 7-10 at lunch time so won't be till after work
