Flam just so you know Stihl did not make the claim, they accepted the claim from reseach professionals that research the OPE market

I wonder where those companies get their money???
Probably from selling their research to companies that look good in their reports, so the companies can release claims by "professionals" that make them look like they are number ONE!!!

A quick search will reveal that there are hundreds of these "firms" and they all have different results!!!
LOL

Hey THALL,

I just received a notice that you won the Nigerian Lottery!!!!

Congratulations!!!!

Mike

Nah Stihl remains a German company Tom, it's just they're using you guys as the Mexicans  Heh heh. Remember the pro saws are still German though...
Seriously though, US made stuff is top notch and I will buy US made, German (and most European) made, Australian made, and Japanese made tools etc with not one quality concern in the world, nor have I ever had any problems with stuff sourced from these countries.
As far as the good ole USA worker being the best in the world they're certainly equal top but it's OK to be biased when you live there ;)

True I am very bias for the American worker. Stihl is a German company but we Americans make them the top brand, without us they couldn't be on top, thats a fact. We buy the most Stihl and we make the most Stihl, hell I just read a press release that said so,hahahaha

Hey mate I love patriotism and good on you - I know what you're saying and agree  I wish we had the same amount of patriotism in Australia. Bit hard though when half the population would be fighting for the other team if a war broke out...

Mike seems to me your double talking. You say your happy for Stihl and then come back with alot of this and that and anyone can say anything, make up ya mind man. I mean if it urks you just say so, quit beating around the bush and put up something that proves the release as false, something concrete other than your assumtions...

Whoops. Sorry Nik, I forgot about Canadia. However we can't buy Beavers here? Quarantine won't let them come via the mail...

Surely there are some of those BEAUTIFUL Aussie girls that would sell you a little Beaver as long as you didn't tell anyone!:jawdrop:

Do you call you homeowner customers that need your services suckers?? Its ok if you do, you should hear some of what my homeowner saw buyers call you, thats why they are buying a saw,LOLOLOL

No Tom I call them informed responsible and smart. They realize the danger associated in tree work and use someone better equipped to handle their trees. Just think Tom your selling them a saw so they with no training can attempt to cut something like this tree I cut for a smart customer lol:cheers:

They'd be selling 28 MS290's instead of 16 :)

LOL. Few know the inner working of how Stihl operates, especailly in Germany. Those guys work 35 hours a week I'm told and get outragous vaction periods. Thats why Stihl put a bar plant in Va Beach. When the Germans can't get it done and meet market demand they send the work to the USA, we get it done baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
