That guy should've given it more of a chance!!!

My saw started to run a little different today. I could hear a growl that wasn't there last week. I would guess I have about 8 tanks a fuel through it and it's starting to "wake up." I didn't check the rpms today but it's definitely winding out a little now. Until today I was only using it to drop trees and doing the rest with my smaller saws.

Today I was cutting for a different mill and ran the 441 quite a bit. It's a pain to hump over the ridges, but very pleasant to run at the landing.

Yup! That 441 is waking up! Just wait until you get 8 gal through it, it will be a different saw! All my saws where dogs at first, then after each tank of fuel you could see a difference in power.:hmm3grin2orange: :biggrinbounce2: ;)

As I've been looking at them over the past couple days it looks like the 3/4 wrap version has twin dogs while the half wrap only has one set... I've heard people say the 3/4 version is a bit different with the oiler but is that also something different or just the way my local dealer has ordered them in? Anything else different between them that you know?

The wrap version has the deeper side cover, dual dogs, HO oiler and a stiffer spring in the upper av mount.
