this warm weather sucks

It's in the 40s was 60 on Saturday it's all dried up its kinda like spring. I load the furnace twice a day instead of every few hours. I cut down 3 trees last weekend this is my favorite cutting weather cool and no leaves.

You are going to be above freezing this week in the middle or in late January? That's incredible. I cannot ever recall this happening where you are located. Not to mention that in mid-January, 1982, the high temperature in Omaha, Nebraska never exceeded 10 degrees below zero F for three straight days.

Ya, sometimes the wind comes off the Pacific and brings warm air. 36f is 76 degrees warmer than minus 40, so should be a scorcher!

I should be filling the woodshed at a record rate cause I'm cutting right behind it .its 46 and so damn muddy I cant get to the trees .oh well I'm not burning much and now that ive ranted a bit I feel a little better .

Cut Saturday with no shirt on for a while but only because I had a tractor to navigate the mud with but I will still have to wait for a freeze to haul it out

I had to use some of my hard work to get the tractor out. That hurt but I was so pissed the neighbors came out to see what the commotion was all about.

And the wood wasn't even for me!!!

But nothing is happening until it either freezes or dries out. I have trusses being delivered on Friday for a pole barn and I can hardly walk across the yard without making a mess.
