Alright I got permission to salvage this lawn tractor now my dilemma is how do I attach this hydraulic pump to this tractor while still allowing the tractor to drive  . I can always scrap the entire body and find a welder and weld up a completely new frame for my motor and pump but I would like to see if we could come up with a simpler way to do things

This is the pulley I would be working off of, the tractor is a JD RX 75

Well are you going to mow with it too?

How many horse? If you are going to mow you are screwed. If you are not planning on having a mower deck. Then I suggest using the idler/tensioner and mounting the pump under there. Instead of turning on the deck. You will be engaging the pump.

9Hp I am not going to use it for mowing since the damn ground here is full of pot holes, this thing was more for the white picket fence yard.

Well you might have clearance problems and rotation problems, the rotation is going to det. the mounting (up or down) which could lead to the clearance problem. You just had to use a rear engine didn't ya.:chainsawguy:
