I've been going to this guy for tractor and engine parts for years as he seems to have a better inventory and can get parts faster when he needs to. Plus he knows Kohler, Tecumsca, b&g, MTD, etc. off the top of his head, and he has saved me some money now and then. He can fix just about anything you take in.
This morning I walked in and we started talking about the Echo 3450 he had sitting out. (He doesn't have much of a display area - mostly works on repairs.) Anyway, the guy knows his saws. Started talking about different Stihl models and he rattles off specs and characteristics. Then I mention Makita-Dolmar, and he gets real excited. He ran one a few months back and was very impressed. So I know he "officially" services Echo, but I would guess he can do good work on others - at least I intend to find out if the need arises. Far more impressive than the Stihl/Echo dealer down my way. If any of you central PA guys are interested:

Within In my are there are 4 saw shops within 50 miles. 3 of them will give you the run around and charge outrageous prices.
The fourth one is a tractor dealership that sells saws and cares about service. Prices are good too. The other day I called one of the closer dealers asking for a part. He told me he couldn't order it and to call the tractor dealership. Excellent way to treat a customer. John
