At 6'9" I look like a trained bear on any bike that is not custom. My legs are a 38 inches.

As for 300# with all my cloths and gear, I'm pushing that getting up in a tree.

I'm 5'9 172. Or so the Army says. Run 2 miles in about 16:30.
Depends on the job, Ive lost 10 lbs in a week and gained 5 the next week.

I am still looking for my ideal climber...job description is at least 8 ft. tall, weigh under 100 lbs. and can lift at least 300 lbs. :D

My weight used to move around like that, but it has stopped doin that.

I can do 2 miles in 16:00 min, but I have a feeling that ROTC is gonna be hell bent on making me get down to a 14:00.

I climb all day and then hit the gym and lift. Started with some running 2x a week.

Get in the habit of doing that daily and an 8 hour day of tree work is a walk in the park....still energy to burn.

5'10" 170lbs it has been hard for me to gain weight in euroland....maybe when the biergartens open:cool:

At 5' 10", 230# I'm a little heavy for my height (or am I just underheight?). People usually guess that I weigh about 200# though. In any case, I have been hitting the gym every day and do a combination of weights and treadmill. When I get down to about 200 people will probably think I weigh 180. The number on the scale doesn't really matter to me as long as I can pull my body weight.

We had some training where you had to climb a knotted rope and go into a 2nd story window.
I had the m60 on my back and 2 bandoliers of rounds and made it up and in quickly. The other 60 gunner couldn't get off the ground.

The General of the state walks right up to me and says , "Son I saw you climb into that window. How do you like that "Pig". ?
I said, "I like it just fine sir!" bla bla bla.
He walked away and I told the crew being prior Navy I had called him a Admiral. They got a laff out of that.. lol

I think the little guys have the advantage when it comes to pruning and getting around. At 6'4" and 215 there isn't anywhere I can get to but may take a few seconds longer. I think for the bigger removals where running a big saw and haveing multible saws with you it is an advantage to being large. Size is everything. We are like specialized tools.

It has been my finding that when you ask most people how tall they are, it is comparable to asking them what's the largest tree they felled or what's the biggest bar they use on an 026, you get all kinds of outlandish claims.
I for one, am 5' f!@#kall, but I still dwarft most 6 footers and feel like a Viking standing beside them. LOL

It's been my finding that wearing all this personal safety equipment is too conformist for me and doesn't appeal to my intelligence, much like wearing seat belts, lifejackets and such.
Something to do with antidisestablishmentarianism I guess.
I'm too rough around the edges for this sort of nonsense, it must have something to do with my Paul Bunyan Complex. LOL
