Just for fun... (not that I could actually pick just 5)
041G
038 Magnum or Mag II
064 or 066
6 cube Homelite
372xppppppp

MS660- IMO best balance of power, reliability and handling except for the older version 066-064 . Makes fast work of the biggest stuff I cut.
044 - fits my body, is and feels light enough to work with multi purposely bucking reasonable size wood and limbing for fairly long hours.
034- Handles more like many 50cc saws, powerful enough to back up the 044 and doesn't take up much room.
026- Light handy beater saw for hazardous conditions and making it easier when you got a lot of small. It also interchanges bars and chains with the bigger saws.
ms192- I'm not a macho man and pretty much need 1 of the lightest for 1 handed up in trees now and then. Not a flippy cap lover but I can live with them.
It makes it easiar having more saws to match to different sizes and types of jobs but that is my 5 saw staple. Much of the falling I do , the saws are at risk of a tree ending up on them, being dropped, etc..Major damages or destruction of high dollar saws isn't easily made up for , for no more then I make so my lower dollar saws see most of the action. Higher $ saws get used more when the going is less risky. A nice 046 goes with me some and I recently got a deal on an 441 to give a serious try. The 395xp feels to much like a tank for me to drag with, and so far few of anything feels better all round then most the Stihls to me. If they did feel much better, I'd do some switching. I will say so far I run an 562 xp about 1 to 2 hours with nothing but compliments, but their to expensive for me and would be an odd ball in bar interchange for me to put in my must have . A 346xp doesn't fit my body and falls over to much, I almost always seem to have a sore back if I use them long. They do handle fast up in the limbs but bucking firewood on the ground, they are a misfit for me. I do go with 1 or 2 less then 50 cc saws sometimes cutting small trees and brush on steep slick ditch banks. I do like the 018 and 025 for that but use most any good running cheap AV saws I pick up.
