Looks really nice. The way it bulges out along the inside walls kind of reminds me of the cylinder off of one of our honda 250R's.

Is this thread set in a different language

L.P.

Know exactly what you mean. A few months ago I would read these posts and look at the pictures and would be totally cluelless about what was going on .But after a few weeks of reading (studying) things started coming together.I would defenetly check out-

1.Porting for dummies

2.porting 101

3.Anything from Blsnelling and Timberwolf

I'm sure I am missing a ton, these just came to mind.

Good luck grinding

i just watched the vid and thats also what i was gona mention.:givebeer::cheers:

Fairdinkum you lot, lol'

I knew before I even started where my foot placement was against the saw travel as I had sussed it out, but there wasn't alot of options. Where I ended up wasn't the best for balance.
From my angle it wasn't as close as it looks in the vid.

Showrguy

Same here. Don't let that stop you on his thread. If you got something to add speak right up.

So I did it

Just finished up the work on the transfers on the 372 jug.Following the steps out lined by Al along with the pics he and Evan provided. It was actually pretty straight forward and relatively stress free using the pics as a guide .
I was also able to widen and angle the upper transfers towards the intake. Used some stacked cut off disks with a dremel after dressing them down to the proper size as I believe Brad had mentioned. It was'nt the best tool for the job,but I believe it got the job down.
I'm not running a gasket on this jug so I will need a day For the dirko sealant to set up before I can run it.
If anything I stayed a little on the Conservative side being this is the first one I have done.I always can go back in if I like hows it turns out.

im glad it turned out good for you.

yes pics and vid are a must. i only wait 10 15 minutes before i fire mine up gasketless. i know i should wait longer but i dont

Pics and vid

Now that could be a problem. It me a few months to figure out the basics of porting.I'm not sure how long it would take me to figure out that!!But it is on my to do before I die list.

lol

awhile ago i thought posting pics and vid were hard to do

372 test run

Was able to run the 372 a bit today taking down and blocking up a 22'' white pine for a neighbor.
Transfer work may have went to well?I actual can turn low speed jet until it's closed and the saw will still run. won't accelerate but it will run .can open it 3 turns and it doesn't stall.
High speed jet was set to about 3/4 of a turn open after port work and it was still 4 stroking out to about 14,500.Now I'm all most down to a half a turn open and it and it's still 4 stroking in the cut when I take away downward pressure.
I thought that I had read that the low speed jet still supplies quite a bit of the fuel at high speed. Maybe that's the case here, that after the transfer work it's feeding fuel easier that's why i need to lean it out?
I was going to shut down at w. o. t. when I flush cut the stump and read the plug ,but the wire came of the kill switch so I had to choke it to shut it down.
Still checked the plug which was maybe half brown and the other half not black but like a dark steel gray.
Also their maybe some oil wetness on the back side of the muffler which would still indicate a rich condition
