Got some oak today, or at least I believe it to be. The newly rehabilitated 026 was in heaven. I am torn between what oak it is. The leaves all around were a huge mix. I’m leaning swamp oak or white. Any help would be nice.

Also thinking it could be maple, after some others comments. but the leaves all around in the fence made me think oak.

My best guess would not be oak, but some species of maple. I'm not sure what all species are native to eastern NC, and in a yard it could be almost anything that was planted as an ornamental.

The second pic sure looks like Maple.
