Just occurred to me: I guess I'm "Nathan" and you're "Nate" then? Folks always ask me which I prefer, and I tell them I don't have a preference, so this will help minimize confusion about who's talking to who!

I wish madsens, baileys, or spike would pick them up. I was told they were sold here but had problems with the inserts popping out so they dropped them. I wish tilton would give them another try. It would make it a little cheaper for us south of the canadian border. I think the tsumura bars are as good as cannon for wear.

I have no preference either. . . Nate's just shorter to say. Legally, I'm "Nathaneal". LOL

I can send as many as you want! I am limited to 32, 36 Stihl and 33,37 Husq.

That's cool and all, great really. . . But why isn't more mounts and sizes available? Like 28" .050 with either Stihl or Husky mounts?

Plus, I'd still like to know why nobody is a dealer on this side of the fence.

They do have 28" in husky .058" and 30" stihl in .063". If the husky was .050" or .063" I would have one. I settled for a 32" stihl mount just so I didn't have to buy more chain. The biggest thing I've got against .058" is no semi skip or square ground available.

Wait. . . Just so I understand right. Do they make a 28" .050 in different mounts, and they're just not imported, or they don't make a 28" in .050 at all?

28" is .058" husky mount. Tsumura has 28" husky mount in .050" in regular bars. I had one total labeled.

Well shucks, I hate having different gauge chain hanging about.

So I take it the 32,36 start at .058 as well then.

30, 32, and 36" is .063" in stihl mount. Maclaren got a 30", and the rest of us got a 32" in stihl mount. I use an adapter to run it on huskies.

That 28" can be 0.063 gauge in a hurry if it can find it's way here. :msp_smile:

I have thought about getting the groove opened up by someone on a .058" bar. I guess if I get another one I'll go that route.

I've done it to two Cannon eBay finds (37" and 42"). I think no one wanted them because they were 0.058 gauge.
