I wasn't sure where to start, so please forgive me if I have errored...

Another tree guy I know (older, and he doesn't have a computer) has this approximately 2 foot by 4 foot basswood log that was beautifully carved out by ants. He carefully lowered it from up in the tree, and put it under plastic with an ant bomb to get rid of the ants. He has had it for a year now - it looks good, and was wondering where he could find some art-type person that may want to buy it.

Any help?

Mr. Gopher, I think I know someone who may be interested! There is a gentlemen whom I've yet to meet that lives in the distant town of Green Lake, WI. I think you've been to that town a couple times. I don't know the first step on how to get a hold of him, but I know he is an accomplished wood worker. I also know a student from a nearby college. She did a huge ceramics project and hired him to create the framing for a lot of her ceramics sculptures. It was at the opening of her show that I was allowed to see how good of a wood worker this guy is. So the question is, who is the mysterious man? I bet he could make some neat stuff out of the wood.

Call me!

(too bad I haven't sent you my new cell phone....check your email!)

It was just a start...

Yes, I forgot to bring the camera last time, NIckrosis, and I will post pictures when my wife returns fromo her Mall of America foray. I am not computer literate enough to complete that task. Or should I say, she is so competant that it is more efficient for me not to be.

I'll get pictures on soon.

Nick from WI: I know the young man. I met him at the art fair this August. Lat name of Rowley ring a bell?

Pictures to follow...
