I'm looking at buying a used trees Inc bucket truck, wondering if anyone has any ideal if these trucks are worth buying

Check the hours on the hydraulic pump and on the drive train should have meter for both. In Canada the truck must pass annual commercial vehicle inspection and NDT non destructive test on both the crane and the outriggers. If it has not been passed recently move on! Don't waste your money. Also get an independent inspection of the hydraulics and engine. If you plan to use it anywhere around power lines it must also be dielectrically tested and you must also be certified! Good luck work safe.

As well as the things above i would check the condition of the bucket, if its been used for line work it should have a fiberglass bucket and boom. a new bucket cost my boss a little over $2K. And it might also pay to check if its had an acoustic test done on the fiberglass section of the boom. good luck !!
