Using a CutOff saw??

Yes, you can cut metal with your 400. Just be sure to use the proper blade on it. The black carbon type blades are made for metal and for concrete. The concrete blades will also cut metal but will wear out fast, on the flip side the metal type will not cut concrete. We use our 400's almost daily on concrete and metal. IMO they are the best cut-off saw ever made.

We also use TS400 cutoffs at my place of work.Use the right blade,and watch out for the spark trail,and you will kick butt.Also look for the new TS420,Its even better than the 400.:biggrinbounce2:
