Madsen's sells it Bob.

Nope...I'm not ordering from Madsens. If I order from Madsen's I won't stop with just Free Sole...I'll convince myself I need a whole lot of other stuff too, just to make the shipping costs worthwhile. :dizzy:

When I was up there last year for the GTG Slowp gave me a guided tour of the place... and it cost me a bundle.

Next time I go to Madsen's I'll just stand outside the door, throw my money and a list inside, and pick up my stuff on the loading dock afterwards. Man, I don't dare go inside that place...too many goodies.

I think it's what makes our state famous!!!

Is that why you went over the cliff? You just forgot to jump off at the right moment and you went down the cliff instead of the dozer? All for a write off!

The Cat didn't go over the cliff, I went over the cliff. All by myself. I can heal up but Cats cost money. I'd managed to pretty much forget that. Thanks for reminding me. PFFFFFFTT !

The road in is pretty steep and sloped inside so I am waiting for a couple of days of dry weather. Right now I have a couple of large burn piles to get going, one is just logs. The rules say I can't use any liquids to start the fires but I can't figure 10 or 20 gallons of diesel would really hurt anything. 20 years ago I would have added a couple of tires just to keep the heat up.

I still haven't taken down that windfall redwood that is in a side bind. I wish a had more horse power to pull it down.

We got 6" of rain last weekend and burned a large pile at another site, had to walk in though. Then the landowner showed up in a Kubota RTV.

I remember the good old days of tire fire starters. AAH the smell the smoke the wire beeds always seem to survive the fire no matter how hot.
