I added a couple of saws to the display today. The SP60 came from Ted (Warped5), he had done a nice restoration a few years ago and decided it was time to move along. I had a nice one in the display already, but it has a brake. This one from Ted has the hand guard mounted to the tank.
I have a couple of fuel tanks in the attic that are drilled & tapped for the hand guard, and one hand guard to go with them but this saved me the effort of making up another saw.
There is a boss inside the tank, you can't really just drill and tap any old tank to mount the hand guard.
On the bench getting it ready.
It even has the correct mesh air filter to complement the warm air duct over the muffler.
I even have a few photos that Ted posted when he first finished up this saw.
Hard to believe that was 10 years ago.
