Exactly how expensive is it to get a saw walkerized? Are there any disavantages to this process?
What i can't undertsand is that..........if it's true that opening up the muffler gives you 0.5 to 1 hp more (or something like that) then why doesn't stihl and husy and the other companies catch on to it and offer it straight from the factory?
Is it because walkerization reduces engine life? (That's just a guess that I'm making, without any facts. Cuz my guess is that allowing more oyygen into an engine would make it rev higher than it's supposed to, making it wear out). I dunno. :alien:
