al smith i do sincerely because you hired someone out of the old boys network (no offense to anyone) im a logger never a climber but if she wants to learn....teach her! again thank you from all women tree persons lol

Why aren't there more female climbers?

"im a logger never a climber". Are you interested in learning? Most women have good strength-to-weight ratio, and a smaller build well suited to weaving in and out of branches.

Lower Center of gravity, wider set (hip connection) are why balance beam in gymnastics is a feminine sport for it pronounces and exemplifies these attributes. More like a martial art stance, squatted low and wide for stability.

That with what Erik listed; and not trying to muscle, but technique through the tough spots i think could forge quite a climber!

Or, something like that;
:alien:

I can't remember the company, but out towards Arlington there's a female climber that would absolutley friggin' amaze you. I saw her work for a bit while set up on a job, and I swear I blinked... and she was done one pruning and onto the next tree!

Now I can see where men have the advantage on removals; sometimes brute strength being more important... but I've never seen before or since anyone fly though a tree faster than that girl did.

And yeah, she was cute, too.

:D

ive had some women groundies before and they did a good job, better they drag than me... no matter how many limbs they carry art once.
