I'm in need of a crankcase for a Stihl 026, including the crank with good bearings. I bought a well used 026 that had a bad flywheel side bearing and it ate up the case pretty good. It'll be cheaper to buy a good used crankcase than replace that half and bearings. Thanks. Here's a pic of the damage.

There was just a pile of 026 parts listed in the last day or so. I'm pretty sure there was a bottom end in there

Unfortunately, I was too late as they already sold. Thanks anyway.

If not, I am sure I have an 024 bottom end. I'm not sure if I have a spare 026 crank though. I might have an 026 flywheel side case though. Had a busted clutch side and kept the flywheel side I think. Let me know.

Thanks. That's my back up plan...find a flywheel case side, use my crank, and get new bearings. The dang bearings are just so pricy. I'll message you if I go that direction, thanks.

Are you opposed to used bearings? I'll look and see what I've got. I still have a fair amount of 024/026 parts.

I just looked. No bearings. I actually have two flywheel side cases. One is for probably a 260 (flippy cap tank) and one is regular twist-style cap. The one with the flippy cap oil tank does have a small crack in it up by where the top AV mount bolts on. Shouldn't be a big deal. I don't have an extra crank either.

Thanks guys, sld961 has me taken care of. I appreciate all the help!
