Due to the Canadian dollar dropping almost 10 cent under us dollar its way too much to buy anything US, its too bad there isnt any 7015s up here north of the borderThe price on stumpgrinders has increased a huge amount over the last 4 or 5 years. As I recall, I gave about $45,000 for my 7015TRX back 5 years ago. Now, the new price is about $65,000. Alexander has a demo unit for sale at around $61,000.
In my opinion, Carlton is the best across the board. Vermeer isn't even close in design or durability.
I have operated my 7015trx for about 6 years with a sanvik wheel and now just replaced it with a new river Revoliution wheel. I have thrown every thing at it from small domestic work to large site clearance 3000 stumps plus on on site alone. Thanks mowing man, Ive been after one of the 7015 trx for over 2 years now and gotten quotes from $72000 (canadian) now feb 2014 from my nearest carlton rep, its pretty discouraging to be honest, so i think i will have to starting looking elsewhere, i would like to know if the price have really jumped that much from last years base price?
I was quoted $53000 from vermeer for a new sc60tx, is the 7015trx really worth the $10000-$19000 better of a machine? I cant even demo a 7015 here the rep said they are only built to order
