LOL

If those saws are under 8 years old, or shorter than than 4'8", they have to ride in the back in a booster seat.

Either side of the tray, tucked in the inside of the sides I have angle iron bolted down with holes every foot so I can attach tie downs to secure loads.
This tool box is secured by these points and doesn't move.
This tool box is large enough to hold the 385 and 395.

I wish they sold those simex tires (the spare in the back) here. They look wicked.

Custom Cases

I'm a pipe welder by trade but own around forty saws. I've been thinking about making custom cases out of aluminum which would be form-fitted to each specific saw and have 1/8 rubber at all contact points. They would be water tight and take up little more volume than the saw itself. I was planning on building cases for my personal saws but if there is any interest in this let me know. Cost would be around $250 but I'm just guessing based on my time invested.

There have been discussions on this on other threads (search for 'cases'). After about $50, most people purchased plastic cases, built plywood boxes, or went 'commando'.

FYI

Hey, if we're gonna go the whole way, let's do it!

This isn't exactly "IN" the bed but close.

This is the handiest way I've ever had for cutting and hauling.
Saws go in the one box. Straps and chains in another. Other side fits a shovel and axe, etc. And then of course tools for work etc in the rest.

thats how my boss does it,

except he prefers Reading/ southern coach boxes...
