Out on a limb,
If you could have done it you would have. Talks cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey.

I could have jioned Force, but did not want to. I do not enjoy running every day, though i could hump a heavy pack (2 radios, extra ammo, extra batteries and excessories) at the time. Like an A gunner, the RO allways has a little more to carry.

I was good freinds withe several people in Force during a number of deployments, and got along with a number of SEAL's. These fellows were true professionals and had gotten over the big headedness.

My problem with the "eliet" units is that they fed into the ego BS we touch on. Yes they pass some tough training and indoctrination, but that is no reason to be a snotty punk. No matter what the BOS emblem they wore.

So how many of you proud former service men are VFW and Legion members? I'm a lifer for the VFW and pay my Legion dues with some regularity (Gotta get around to paying the Life dues for them too) With all the boys and girls coming back with unwhole bodies we will need all the help we can to keep Washington from screwing with their bennies.

To think that some are waiting months for medical evaluation:angry:

this reminds me of the thread testing the grcs
why would arboeist take arborist equement and test
it with cars ??? why would you call a group of arborist a seal team
call it the A team

Seals

Back, some 30 yrs.ago,I was a fast attack, sailor. We were equiped for seal team deployment, but I can't say any more on the subject{silent service, you know].The few, fine gents,I became aquainted with, were,as Steve Martin said,"wild and crazy guys",but very proffesional in their job.To J P Sanborn,I am also a life member of the VFW as well as a charter and former member of the Subvets of New Londen Conn.
