So it's arcing?
Ouch! This concrete saw had been a victim of a local river flooding this summer, following a torrential rain which hit the region very hard and caused a lot of damage.

A flood victim needs to be stripped down to the bone, and cleaned miticulously as mud particles will affect all crankcase bearings. A lot of work.

Is that a tesla coil?
Odd question.....? Do you use the metric system to size PVC Sch40 pipe in Europe?

Custom paint.
Customer requested an unmistakably unique saw, so it wasn't mixed up with other contractor's saws.
I know what you mean. I am older and grew up with the Imperial stuff so metric has the same effect on me.All metric over here..... imperial stuff gives me instant headache. ...
nice saw btw. is hat a 051 or 075/076 ?
Kinda looks like a Bengals fan to me. Just saying. LMAOThis is the "enormous venomous insect" paint job, I assume?![]()
Yeah I work on British bikes on the side so I have three huge tool boxes for standard metric and wentworthKinda looks like a Bengals fan to me. Just saying. LMAO
A buddy of mine has a big ranch over by Claremore, OK. He keep wanting me to sharpen the chain on his Stihl.Good old baling wire...........
Duct tape Is todays baling wire.
I sold an 028 Stihl to a guy once that called me about two months later saying he'd cut about 30 trees up with no issues, but now the chain was locked up. I had given him a quick safety demo verbaly, but evidently he was ADS when I showed him the chainbrake function. I paused, and thought of the myriad of things it could be, and then, like asking a kid with chocolate on his face who had eaten all the cake, I asked him if the brake had been tripped. He shyly answered, how do I release it?
....... I imagined someone in India In a call center In a cubical trying to help some dufuss on the other side of the planet, when all that it wrong is the power cord came unplugged. Doi !
I'm right there with ya.I know what you mean. I am older and grew up with the Imperial stuff so metric has the same effect on me.
That was my thought too, but both rings are intact. It might be from the spark plug, but I don't think the saw had the plug in it when I received it so I can't check. That looks like it could be part of a ring.
