My 83 year old Uncle gave me his Homelites an XL, XL2, And a Super EZ Automatic. His statment was I'm giving these things with the understanding you won't sell or trade them fer one of them damned Remingtons you like fer some odd reason. The XL2 is locked up tight. The XL looks good thru the muffler, and the Super runs great. Any and all advice on these is appreciated.

Congrats!

That lil SEZ will surprise you when set up right!

I pulled the baffle straight out of the muffler and retuned the carb to suit and its a Humdinger for a 40cc saw.

If you go this route put some screen in the muffler behind the exit to keep small objects and low flying birds out of the cylinger when not in use.

My XL hydro-locked with bar oil once, might try pulling the plug and see if it will turn over.
