You got it Nathan.

Mike, no foolin'. Physical shape. If I didn't climb I'd be in convalescent care. I'm not joking either...long story.

The "buzz" of the task. Wanna know what's really an experience? Eat bonafied seafood for breakfast - a crustacean without bread or grains and an avacado, with a whole honeydew or cantalope melon. Then be in the tree within a hour for at least four hours of intense squirrelling and rigging.

Wow. Spiderman.

5 days a week I work for a big CA tree company , working for wealthy clients, the pay is low but the education is priceless. To make ends meet I do a bit of freelance work on weekends and evenings. After doing treework all week I like the easy take downs and smaller pruning jobs that can be done in a couple of hours, leaves time for family and adds a few extra $ to make life easier.

A friend of a friend called last week and needs a tree removed . "100 feet tall and next to the house" They have been trying to find someone to take the job for over a year with no takers.

I show up to do the bid, tree turns out to be only 65 feet high. Climb up to the second crotch, tie in, make 7 cuts, desend, drop the spar. The homeowner keeps the wood for firewood and wants the chips too. I got fed a nice breakfast , a $100 tip and a case of Guiness Stout. Life is grand.

Its always nice to work for the working class, the wealthy folks don`t even offer a drink of water from their garden hose.......I`ll work for the working class any day.......
