Its not an 066 I am pretty sure.

The part number is 1122 141 1005 Didn't bring anything up in my parts book either.

Ideas?

The profile of the orange part (if it hasn't been hogged out somehow) looks more like something for an 026 to me.  It appears to have some sort of "winterizing" shroud (probably stating the obvious there) which was attached later.  It does appear to have been nicely done if that's the case.  Oh, I assume you meant the whole unit and not just the black cap.

The thing about the image that *really* caught my attention was the $100 US worth of Copenhagen sitting there!  I don't use it anymore (I don't think I ever paid more than a buck for a can), but I use to get a couple of days out of a can if I remember it right.  A guy I worked with would go through two cans in an 8 hour shift.  I bet he don't no more; that'd be like, what, better than a buck an hour cut in pay now?

It is a factory stihl piece. no mods done I am sure.

That cover would engulf an 026 cover easily.

Go through bout a can, can and a half a day...

That is an Artic cap produced by Stihl. I have used one on a saw where there is a lot of snow falling. It helps keep the snow from entering the air filter. I have seen them for 044, 046 and 066.

Later,
Chris

Stihlman is right that it is an Arctic cap, but you already knew that. I can`t find anything as a direct match but it is almost definitely an 066 or 064 item from what I can tell. I`m wondering if it came off a saw from Canada where they have the Arctic versions and possibly have other parts #s than what American dealers have. Russ

LMAO...do I feel silly....I never even paid attention to the black rubber peice, but was concentrating on the orange plastic. About 95% of 46/66/64's that come into my store have that rubber on it.....not often I see one without it....but yeah, that should fit the 064...

Thats funny dennis, i have never seen one till today when I dug through about 10 boxes of old nos stihl parts and found this.

Ill have to buy an 064 and see if it fits huh...
