I bought a John Deere 240 skid steer. Put a 66" Piranha root grapple on it and I love it. It's got a 1500 lb lift capacity, 3400 lb tipping capacity. The grapple works well. They built it for me upon order. I think I paid $1500 for the grapple plus shipping was about $200. I made a lot of $$$ during Fla's storm clean up and spent a lot of $$$ renting a bobcat to do it. Decided I needed my own. Cuts a lot of man power need to do jobs and speeds things up a lot. I also keep the construction bucket for moving stump grindings and the last of the rakings. Scoops right up in the grapple for transporting. I'll try to remember to take some pics.

I tote it around in this and if the job is only one or two loads I haul w/ it too. Pain in the butt going back for the skid steer. Oh well, better than a log dolly and subbing my small loads like I used to do.
