Years ago this was a great mail order company for chainsaw accessories based out of London Ontario here in Canada. They sent out interesting flyers and used to be my main source for bars, sprockets and chains. This was back in the days when shipping costs were reasonable and CHAINSAW AGE was being published.

I also used to order bars and chains from them. Think the name changed.

Years back I bought a number of chains and other items from Zip-Penn and then Cutters Choice. Somewhere along the line I started using other suppliers (not sure why, I was always happy with their products and service). I hadn't thought about them in years until I saw this. I'll have to wander through their website.
I'm sure I've still got some chains and bars from them.

Nostalgic remembrances of Zip-Penn from my early timber felling days in the 70s. I too bought chains and bars and a couple of Granberg /File-N-Joints back in the day. Wore out both of the sharpeners! That's a lot of chains sharpened, a lot of trees cut.
I lost track of Zip-Penn shortly after Bailey's started up. I switched over to Bailey's at that time for saws and saw needs.
Thanks for the cutters choice link; I'll check them out.

"Cutter’s Choice (formerly Zip Penn Company Ltd.), was founded in the late 50's by Bill Bethel Sr. With his experience of owning a local repair shop, Bill took advantage of a new concept called mail order delivery. At the time, the postal service was making it easier to deliver small parcels to homes and businesses. Bill decided to focus on offering chainsaw chain, bars and accessories to a growing number of customers that were looking for a wider selection of parts not found at their local hardware store."
