What saw are you using this year?

This year will be a new 562xp purchased it on Monday. I went to the shop to purchase two new chains for my old husky 61 and walked out with a new 562xp... How does that happen. The old 61 is a 1985 and I have had it since new. Has been a great saw and still has the original p/c. I cut around 10-12 cord a year for the last 14 years. I sure hope the 562 treats me as well as the old 61.

A lot of guys seem to like them. I'd love to try one, one day! My dad has been running a 61 for the past couple years.

550 xp with 16" bar, wws 2260 sporting a 20" bar and prolly my 7900 wearing a 24 or 28" bar. The elect ported 394 has gotten a work out though. Sorry hard to keep it to 3

Mostly use my 034 super with 20" bar. It's a good ole saw! I just won't spend the money on a fancy new one if I don't have to.

Upgraded to a MS251. Cut all my wood last year with a MS192T. It will be on limb duty.

Big stuff- MS460-24" bar
Med stuff- 562xp-20" bar, 038M-20" bar
Little stuff- MS261-18" bar, 026Pro-18" bar
Tiny stuff- MS211-16" bar

I spent today blocking 24"-30" logs with the 460. I really like that saw, wind it up and let it eat.
Overall, the 562 gets the most run time.
After running any of the others, the 211 feels like a toy.

I will be using husky wws 262, wws 562 and 242xp. The hard part is trying to figure which one to grab first.

Which do you like better? The 562 or 262?

I like using my 576xpat the most mainly because of how big the gum trees are that I cut up
