They only sell the small ones over here, largest jonny is 58. Not sure what they're playing at, not much sales it seems. Husky up to 57x.
The older generation looks like real and solid chainsaws, the new one's looks like a piece of soap. Thanks.
I was thinking of you the other day, sent this one to a new home.
2145 with an AM ported 346 cylinder, nice little runner.

I have those parts if you haven't already ordered.

Edit: Don't forget to bracket the muffler and get rid of the plastic intake clamp.
You're the man .

Those are things most homeowners need since they don't run sharp chains or watch for maintenance items ;). The mufflers stay tight if they are tightened when hot, and I've never had an issue with the plastic clamps myself, pretty sure its from people running full chains an overheating the saw this expanding the clamps.
I ran the 2145 above for a few yrs and never had the extra mount, the clamps was replaced when the cylinder was off, no reason not to do it when its apart unless you're trying to build something on the cheap at that point.
Nice, what did you get for it?
275 plus shipping. It was a great runner, but I replaced it with another saw I got a good deal on, can't keep them all lol.

...can't keep them all lol.

I understand your point of view.
I don't sell things, I'm just not good at trading - if I buy something I don't ever consider it to be sold ever. My chainsaw shelf is filling up quickly and it's chokin' already, space is a definite limitation and I don't have too much of it.

Lucky guy though, that's a nice and proper chainsaw. Could use some cleaning of the rear handle since it looks perfect otherwise. I guess you leave that to the other guy

Some items I do better at selling than others .
Everything I buy I consider the possibility of what it would sell for down the rd, but some items are specifically for use as your saying, but I still sell those to replace them with newer ore better ones as I like running nice equipment.

I cleaned the rear handle prior to shipping it! The one on the right will be replacing it, the handle looks dirty already lol. I may or may not keep it depending on how I like cleaning it, but when I bought it I had already thought selling it was a possibility ;).
My chainsaw island is getting full this week too .

This 340 from ebay had floated around the garage since last fall. The starter pawls were gummed up and weren’t engaging. Rest of the saw appears to be perfect and runs/oils.

I’ve got a somewhat trashy bar and chain to test it out but I was thinking of converting it to 3/8 LP so I can run the same chains as my other little saws.

Sounds great Steve.
Your island is a little, well dirty :surprised3::lol:.
Make sure you replace the recoil screw that's missing right away, hate to see it break on you . Also speaking of missing/loose screws get it warmed up real well and tighten the muffler bolts, you may want to loctite them as well, but tightening while the saw is hot usually works just fine.
The picco/lp chain is hard to beat on a lower powered saw, if I didn't have so much 325 around and the bars weren't so much to convert I'd switch a few of mine over, I also get great deals on picco chain from a somewhat local stihl dealer so that helps.
Just swapping the 340 P&C out for a 350 with a flat top makes a huge power increase on this chassis.

Honey where's the lid for the peanut butter .
I like that one, go Michigan  .
Hopefully that one will stay a while. I may let mine go after snagging up the XPG.

Lol, it was empty ;).
Yeah this one might take up permanent residence.
That XPG is super nice!
