hi, ive been browsing silky's website checking out their different handsaws. (they are expensive little buggers) soooo i need to know what's the best saw they offer for cutting limbs quickly and topping trees while climbing them. any advice with personal expirience would be nice!

thanks!!!!

Your best Silky is a Kanzawa Samurai, LOL. I like them way better than Silky. I gave away my Zubat after I got the Samurai 13" and now I use the 15" model, which I really like. It has the same teeth as on the 13" model. I also have the Ibuki, which I never did like from the day I got it. It is hard to get it started in a cut. If they used the same teeth like on the Zubat, it would be a much better saw.

But to answer your question, from my experience with Silky, the best all around is the Zubat.

disclaimer: I have only used the Zubat, Ibuki and Gomtaro and am by no means an expert opinionated person on all models.

Sugoi has them all beat, it is like a small chain saw.
Saw scabbard last the longest, tip with knife edge for hooking limbs or slicing off suckers, you can sharpen it fairly easy, excellent grip, you can fine prune wtih it.
the only thing wrong with it is it will cut you bad. And it would be your own fault.
