You can make them fit those Macs.Dremel, die grinder, milling machine, the results are all the same.It looks to me that they have a nice wide heel to accommodate over sized sprockets.

Could those have come off a harvester, slasher, or something like that ?

No! Those are just open roller nose bars,in use some time ago. They are popular for racing type saws.I have 3 of them[actually Hunter has 2,if he ever gets here to pick them up]I used to find them,on saws,at auctions, but paid little heed at the time.I'll be paying more attention now. :dizzy: From what I understand, the roller offers less rolling resistance to the chain, hence the saw racing thing.[along with a whole bunch of power] :)

Bob-
Is the brand Spiegel, or maybe it might have been a logging or other company that stenciled their name on the bars of their saws? I'm glad you ended up with them. Did you get the other two also?

Gday Chopwood,

Don't know but when i went to Mike Acres site it said Speigel made Poulan ????????????
I hope that's not the almighty curse as Poulan are not too highly thought of.

Now to answer Ray these two are heading deep south, yep south of the border down Australia's way.

They will be fitted to my big mac's but without fries.

Mc Bob.
