Yep, I've bent bars like that as well. I'd whole lot rather eat $40 for a new bar than $900 for a new saw!!! Dan's gonna put it back together for me though
Hi Ryan, things can always be worse. I lost the cost of a saw when this one split lengthwise from the crown to the butt after the double top clapped together. It being minus 15 didn't help either.
Then, I almost got cold cocked by a 12" leaner that I didn't see, but thats another story, so I came home early.

Hi John, yes it can ALWAYS be worse. I'm very glad it wasn't!!! Thats not the first time I've hung a saw and it won't be the last I'm sure! Its one of those things it just comes with the territory
