The saws to have are as follows: 346, 026, 357, 362, 044, 372, 7900, 385, 066, 2100, and 088. These otta get you thru your busy woodchopping day, provided of course that you have proper dealer support. If filing is found to be an issue, just grab the 088 and chow down merrily on any vegetated wood matter in site.
The 066 with the huge western dogs are an added plus as they grab on to all underbrush thereby building an escape route to the tree you are trying to find in the undergrowth. It's just a matter of disloging 38 or so whips that have become entagled in the dogs.
The 357 with it's excellent power to weight ratio will accomidate almost any bar length up to 41 inches, so you can pole vault your way to every stem and hurdle huge crevasses and valleys with a single bound.
The saw to have that will serve every need is the 7900. Once modified and geared up it will do everything thrown at it except drive you into the bush.
So Roxanne, as you can see, it's not how big it is, it is what you do with it that counts. If you send me your address I will send you a modified 346 if that's ok with your Dad as long as your brothers don't touch it.

I second what Gypo said Busy Beaver, and if your brothers touch your saw let us know , cause Gypo is a 5th degree black belt in the art of BS and that is hard to beat , myself I am only a beginner is this sport , have lots to learn but I am sure Gypo and Doug will keep me going in the right direction

:D :blob2: Gypo , Crofter just told me that his 372 would beat your 088 , are you game? Now Crofter donot let him know I put a nitrous oxide kit of your saw

uuumm aa ..... ed??? Did franky tell you about the turbo crank I sent him??? I told him more air. needs More fuel means more power..... so he should now with your NOS have no trouble beating up on that 088. expecialy if he uses one of his chains....

Chris

Hi Ed, Frank also has an 026 that will beat my 088, 066, 385, 999,and 500cc motorsicle saw, but I have this 346piped alcohol saw that mite have a chance, but rumour has it that Ricky has it in Tenessee, so I got pissed off and sold it to Chris Cicora, so you will have to deal with him now, cause Dozer Dan and Dennis Greffard want a peek inside after Dave Neiger and Eric are finished with it. LOL

How much did you get for it? lots i hope but what does Chris want with it, and no Ricky does not have it , I do and was working on it tonight but i am having to build some new stuff, like a new side cover cause there is no room for that big gear with a stock cover and a bar, I guess they never thought a 346 would turn amy thing bigger than a 8 tooth

Chris; I wish you had told me I was going to need the case line bored for bigger bearings. A one piece forged crank is a wonderfull idea; now how do you get a one piece connecting rod on it? Once you guys get a fellow hooked he's as good as on the stringer!

Poor Frank

Frank,
Haven't you ever done one of those puzzles that look really hard to figure?? Usally they encompass something that is way too big to go through the small hole. Same thing here. Let me know when you get it done...

Gypo,
Umm the saw has a bit of an issue???? You already filled out the warrenty Info. How am I supose to claim anything after to blows up when I'm practicing those plunge cuts with a down up?

Later,
Chris
