Odd that. I hadn't thought of it for a long, long time. Last time I used mine was around 30 years ago. Did get it out two days ago to see if I could use it to enlarge a hole in a mounting bracket...no bits.

Have the one with both the straight out shaft and a reduction right angle drive on the end of the motor plus just one straight handpiece. Nothing wrong with it that I can tell, ran fine.

IIRC they used to supply a tube of grease of somekind for the shaft.

Anyone want mine it is available. I'll go for $100 OBO. Shipping extra as it does weigh somewhat.

Yea Harbor fright sell them. The guys at work don't have much luck with them.
A guy owed money on his tool payment so I picked this one up for 50 bucks.
came from the Cornwell tool truck same as the blue point one sells for 129.00
I priced the 90 degree one last week cost 10 bucks more.

Good score. I have the blue point 90 degree pencil grinder. Bought it after some guy had his tools repoed....about a week old, lol.

I also bought a straght one from HF, and it is very similar in desgin.

Between those, and the regular die grinders, They get the job done quite well.

The only thing I don't like about he 90* pencil grinder, is the length of the head. IT is about 1/4-3/8" longer than My buddies Foredom. It is hard to work on the smaller saws transfers with the B/P. I like the Foredom, but I'm not going to spend the money, when the tools I have work.

Dayum! Foredom is sure proud of their tools. I just looked at current prices and can't believe them. Over $300 for a 1/6 horse electric motor with a flex shaft!! Must be gold plated inside.

I remember back when I bought mine in the 60s that I dithered a long time before springing with the bread. They were high back then too (don't recall the price). One of the things I wasted my money on before I discoverd wimmen and beer
