when D-ick Proenneke lived up at Twin Lakes in AK... he came in one late winter afternoon from being out in the -40F weather... said he was looking fwd to getting back inside his cabin... where the wood burning stove, heater... kept things at a toasty... 48F! re: One Man's Wilderness

48F!! and it was toasty warm!!! and the cabin floor was, well is... gravel. ;)

House has to be kept hot enough for my wife to sleep naked lol . She complains sometimes it's so hot her ankles swell but that's so she can't run away from me [emoji4][emoji11]. Started heating the pool a few years ago now she has to have 80 or no swimming!
