Will it be enough?

We're looking at 8 to 14 inches of "heavy" snow, sustained winds 17-21mph with gusts up to 37mph. What do you guys think?

You might get a little work out of it but up where you live trees have weathered storms before. A lot of the weak and unstable limbs are purged periodically. I mean it's not like where I live where the trees grow for years without experiencing a really bad storm and develop a lot of unstable limbs. Then you get a bad one and it all comes tumbling down at one time. They said our last really bad one was a hundred year storm. The lower half of our state got it this year.

That's what I was thinking too, unfortunately. Damn I wish the trees had some leaves on them...

Its pouring on top of what used to be a foot or so of snow here - thankfully!

I'm hoping to get back out on this job and do some more six-wheeling with the bucket eventually. :)

Trust me it's not all it's cracked up to be. Storms are a curse. Great short term money but a big one brings in people from everywhere. All the work gets done in the first year (except for the ones you can convince that the damaged trees need to be pruned in phases), then you set around and twittle your thumbs for the next year or two. Not to mention it turns everybody in town with a chainsaw and time on their hands into a "treeman".

What? You're going to have to clarify that statement, bud.

You know I got an all wheel drive bucket no??

I've got some good stuff going on with work at the moment, but this weather is sorta killing it. Been either snowing or raining sinse tuesday. Oh, well at least I got a good start - and a nice downpayment.

I understand that, but it'd be nice to have it happen on a smaller scale. Not big enough to attract attention, but enough to jump start my biz for the season. Thought maybe ( assuming the predictions are correct lol ) this little "snownado" ( yes, that's what they're calling it ) would be enough.
