In my beginning of burning wood for heat I took any kind of wood. I knew nothing. I took seven cords of willow tree. I split it and let it sit and dry for over a year. We tried burning it. It smelled like the swamp was burning. I only burned it after 12am when people were sleeping. Never cut any again.
