We get back to the job after lunch today and some brown boys are loading up my client's hickory we just split. It was a take down for a room add on. They were obviously a tree outfit but no sign on the truck. I have gotten too old and fat and couldn't catch mine but my foreman caught his and gave Poncho an olde tyme beat down. One of the others hauled ass across the neighbor's back yard and out of sight. We all laughed it off but the laughing stopped fifteen minuets later when we realized a tool box we left on site when we went to lunch was missing.

Bunch of illegals that will disappear into the woodwork like cockroaches.

Or the ER after getting caught by some tree guys!

Its one thing to snag bulk wood, but split wood! that's just dirty.

They were probably drunk and wanted a BONG fire.:hmm3grin2orange:

what about their truck?:msp_confused:

There was one in the truck when we pulled up. He took off and stopped for a second and then realized for sure who we were and he was GONE. The other two came from around the corner of the house, saw who we were, and ran. I chased one but he could move four times faster than me and disappeared through the neighbor's back yard. One of my guys didn't want involved but the lead man of the crew caught the other one and beat the #### out of him. He finally let him go and he kinda half ran and half limped off down the street.

You should have packed your lunch, but then we wouldn't be reading this tale of thievery. Hope they didn't get much by taking your tool box.

Little Black Hawk tool box with mostly cheap brand tools in it wasn't worth a lot but I had that old box for a long time. Thirty years I guess.
