Hello in there,
I went to a Logging Festival in Parry Sound Ontario today and got a few good pictures of the best in the Spring Board Chop and saw competitions. Here's a picture of Gaston Duprie from Quebec, Canada

that first picture kinda had me thinkin one fella didnt know it was an axe fight.
always did admire somebody who didnt cullum when he decided to scrap. he picked the biggest man their.i diidnt say he was smart, just nervy.:)
also i wouldnt trade my wife fer nothin ,but id like to meet a women like that.
she could get it done, now.

John why did'nt you prep the 088 and get after them? They will learn your name if you kick there a**!

Hi Jon, It was kinda funny. Sat.morning I called a friend about picking up a modified 371 set up for achohol.
Anyway, his mother said he was at a race in Parry Sound which was 150 miles away, so at 11am. I threw the 088 in the truck and drove off like a madman for the 2.5hr. drive. I got there just in time as the race started. I believe it would make things easier for young upstarts like myself if we could simply walk up to the log with a saw and make one cut thru a 20" log as they do in the West.
These saws were fast, Gaston ran his Honda 250 at the race with an incredible time. I will try and post the times when I get them.

John, I understand your delima, cold start 3 cut is difficult, but not impossible! I actually placed one year in Fort Bragg, againsed some big dogs! makes it even sweeter when you can beat them at there own game. If someone says race stick your nose in, half the time it won't get broke.
Got to close to an 088, at the last race, while I was running my 090, sucked it up and blew it out my exhaust!!!!!!
P.S. Don't run a saw ( V8 ) in a bar the Mounties could be listening.

Hi Rob,
I was a bit to late to enter the 084KD, so I showed them this picture instead, but they wouldn't believe me, however, your gonna see my 088KD kick some but this week.

Here's a picture of some chainsaw nerds. My dad Phil was up on the hill, if you look close you can see him passed out in the grass.

Well I think your pictures could us some clerification....
The Rotax pic shows Paul and Walley from NY. Both compete in Sthil. The pole climb picuter is of Peg (The Orange NYSEG sweatshirt) another competitor from NY. Peg is also ranked the #1 womens chopper in the US. She also kicked butt at the Outdoor games.
And by the way if you want to beat Wally's Rotax just race in big wood. Don't know why but that saw hates big wood as of this past year. But the 8x8's watch out he's just barely over 3 sec. with a cold start.

Good day :)

TIMBERRRRRR!!!!!sports guys

Lambert,
When you suck up to me real good and give me one of those 0.88 of yours, I'll introduce you to my friend Mike Sullivan from Conn. What do you think of my new hardhat, pretty jazzy A.

Crazy Aussie

This is Dale Ryan, the crazyest of all Aussies. The USA girls really like him too! You can tell why, look at that tongue. One of the World's best axe men.

Big cocanut

Dion Lane and my daughter Kristy at Morton, Wa. The big kiwi goes 6'2" 320lbs and is an unreal athlete. Holds numerous world records in chopping and sawing. In fact he set a new underhand record at that show.

Hi Dennis those pictures dont impress me at all, in fact I think you never cut a tree in your life, and I wont tolerate you trying to edge me out of here as the Zypo logger.
Anyway, look what I got today at my dealers, he found it in the attic, only 500 CDN out the door.
