Picked up a low hour 181SE today. Little dirty but all there and in great condition. Have no idea when it last ran but tank was dry. Threw some fresh non ethanol mix in it and she fired off after a few pulls on the recoil. Little tweak on the high and low speed screws, runs like a champ. Paid $100 dollars for it.

Stihl 021 was free for shipping ($30) from a forum member from the other site, muffler modded and advanced timing, runs, but dies as soon as I give it throttle.
Cub Cadet CS-5220, paid $50 from a member here, been sitting a couple years, I’ll troubleshoot it soon

I watched this Remington Super 75A with a 24 inch Remington bar sit in a second hand store collecting dust for several months. The initial asking price was $150. I finally brought it home for $60, about half what they're going for on that big internet auction site as "for parts only".

I've got my work cut out for me if I'm going to get this saw running; I hope to tear in to it soon.
Here it is parked with my other big saws:

Next to the Remington is an MS391 25 inch, then an 042 28 inch, and finally a 1972 Homie XL923 31 inch. Thanks for watching! O

Heck, he brake cover is worth twice that, lol
Another $100 for the wrap handle.
Probably $600+ in parts alone 🤣

Picked up the 026 a few weeks ago from a local guy or $50, it ate a piston skirt and also had an MS250 filter adapter rigged up to 'kind of' filter the air. All things considered the cylinder looks salvageable and the only damage was internal. Very good condition otherwise! The P41 was an auction find that turned out ok, its rough but p&c look to be ok and it fires on prime. IMG_6017.jpgIMG_6019.jpgIMG_6020.jpgIMG_6023.jpg

Got 2 more saws yesterday! First is the Craftsman version of my Echo Kioritz 302 and John Deere 30 chainsaws. It’s missing many parts, but I won it for only $18 shipped on an eBay auction! I just need the gas cap and the ignition coil which I hope is good. Rest of its parts will be available for sale or trade. Second is a Homelite Super XL Automatic which I snagged at the landfill, shockingly, it runs as it should! I need an air filter cover, air filter cover mounting stud peice, and a bar oil cap for it, if anyone has any of those parts please let me know.

A 70+ year old friend from church gave me her late husband's yard tools:

With minimal cleaning and some fresh fuel, the 290 fired right up. The bar and sprocket are pretty sad, but I can easily deal with that.

So with this addition, I have a total of three running MS290s.

The strimmer is also a runner, but I really don't need a forth Stihl string trimmer! I may have to find it a good home. O

Very nice. I’ve really been wanting a newer Stihl trimmer, do you ever come up to central Wisconsin? That’s where I am.
