Another "what's it worth" thread: Husqvarna 359

I did some searching and can't find much info on what they're worth. As expected, there's a huge range of prices on fleabay. The only one I can find searching AS is a brand new one.

I'm going to sell it and want to know what a fair price is.

I spy a broken CB handle, and a green gas cap that is indicative of a CAT muffler. That's $75 in deduction in my book.

Seriously, you want a value based on a single picture???????? There's way more to valuing a saw than how it looks.

Runs and cuts good. Haven't checked compression yet, but it feels strong. As noted, it has broken cb handle.

It also has a bolt missing on the muffler bracket.

I can give you a ballpark price on any Stihl saw, assuming it runs, cuts and is in average condition, with no pictures....

I'm asking for ballpark is it a $100 saw? 200? 300?

With no bar and chain, assuming it starts well, runs strong, and nothing else is wrong, $200 give or take about $50.

A cat muffler can be remedied, the cb handle isn't too bad, and assuming all else runs like a top.

Neal, look at the area of the exhaust outlet. It looks like someone has doctored/modified the muffler, no? It just seems to me like exhaust deflector is large in comparison.

I noticed that too, but I didn't want it to seem like I was picking. As far as modding a CAT, I have done a few but it takes a couple of hours and I just replace them now.

There's a chip in the front of the crankcase too.

It looks like someone tried to weld it. Also, the chain catcher is broken and the chip deflector has been hit MANY times.

There is a chip in the front of the case by the AV spring, but it wasn't welded.
It is definitely well used and it's not a new machine. I appreciate all of your input.
