034 CHAIN TENSIONER and BAR/CHAIN COMBO

Just a quick question on my Stihl 034---the tensioner seems to be stripped when I try to tighten it, the side adjustment screw just spins.. Does the assembly just pry out or is there a specific way to exchange this part as I am new to saws??? Also,it's a 18' bar .50, 3/8 pitch and Bailey's has a .63gauge .325 bar and chain combo that looks like a good deal..is it good to get has a spare bar and chain??? [yes I will also change the sprocket to match]
