I dont hammer magnesium as it can crack pretty easily and you may not see it

Pest has all the bases covered... Expanding puller, then TIG are my favorites. I've even the drilling of three small holes in the case to intersect the beating outer race, then press it out, Epoxy to fill the holes later..

The other solution is simply put a bearing center and balls back in. Postion the balls so you have grip, and push out with a press.

got new crank bearings which one goes where and how the dealer said he could not provide me with instructions on this

He already cut it a broke a piece out so it's too late for that methinks....

i dont have any old bearings i tought my nephew how to use the sling shot and now it seams im running low on nuts and bolts too anyway i heated it up with the mapp gas and tweaked it out with my chipped spot worked fine everything looks good i need to get into some diffrent saws this is 044 #5 that i have rebuilt but this one is the first complete rebuild thanks for the help guys

I use a carbide burr in a die grinder. Less chance of warping the case.
