Durn can't have no fun anymore, BS, I am, I'm from old school, give me the dayumm saw and get out the way. Old dogs stay on the porch, kids stay in the house, hand me a saw and look out, hehe.

I think the most hazardous thing for Thall is the fags, if he wants to saw wood for another 38 years he better kick them fags where it hurts.
I reckon the drop start method used by Thall is a pretty common and half decent method. It's those rear handle pulling ones that are the bad a$$ way to start the saw.
But frankly, when you are up a tree almost anything goes so those PPE nazi's who most likely never even climbed a slippery slide should pi$$ off.
Ever got caught holding something half cut in your left hand and you have to drop start your 200T up a tree? Things you dont show or do on video but I learned to get out of a jam by putting the chain break on (make sure saw is switched on) lift saw up by the starter handled and give it a good fast drop and pull ... now it's running, just a small juggle and you got that baby right where ya need it.
The single largest threat to a business here in OZ is the OHS nazi's, regardless of what systems or PPE you have in place you, the boss, will always be held responsible for workers. Even if the worker does something wrong intentionally and knowingly behind your back you the boss can be fined... that in itself is the threat.
And bosses are getting fined all the time coz there's never a 100% safe way to run a tree jobsite, and when an accident occurs the blanket fine imposed is for "failing to provide a safe workplace".

I told you those damn videos would get you in trouble one of these days. Good thing they have not found the good ones. Try and be a little more responsible next time. And get rid of those purdy saws or atleast use them so they will look like you use them.04ultra said:I'm Speechless
